For a year now photographer Christoffer Relander has been working on a new series of analog multiple exposures. This video is an introduction to his ongoing project Jarred & Displaced.

"In this project I have realized a childish dream. I play with the idea of being an ambitious collector; conserving my environments into a large personal collection. Most landscapes are from where I grew up, on the countryside in the south of Finland, where my roots still lie. Separation anxiety to my childhood is simply what absorbed me into this project.
With analog multiple exposures I’m able to manipulate my photographs in-camera—this project was not created or manipulated in an external software such as Photoshop. All double exposures are shot on medium format film that I develop and scan myself. I print pigment prints on museum quality paper, these are available in limited editions.
Jarred & Displaced is an ongoing project, this is my first installment".

I Am Hunger is currently in production. The film is an insight into the self funded grass roots charities that are trying to tackle the steep rise in homelessness and poverty in the UK. These charities offer a lifeline to some of the most vulnerable in society. The film looks at how some of these amazing charities survive and looks at the vital work their volunteers carry out on a daily basis.
The film hopes to inspire others in the community to get involved in helping or supporting a charity in their Town or City. The work these charities carry out is a lifeline to some folk in our society.
Written & Directed by Anthony Tombling Jr for Unit 3 Films, the film is due for completion, Spring 2017.

Please note: I abided by all laws to make this video. Due to concerns of some viewers I would like to point out that flight safety is very important. You should at all times see your drone. My night shots were filmed at dawn and I did not fly above people, buildings or streets for them. I flew slightly next to the highway, not above it, the church shots were filmed from above the yard and not above people and the shot inside the fog has an invisible cut, so I myself was positioned above and below fog for a clear sight of the drone at all times. Determine all risks carefully. Achieving many of these shots is much more work than it might appear.
Original poem by Jones Very:
The morning comes, and thickening clouds prevail,
Hanging like curtains all the horizon round,
Or overhead in heavy stillness sail;
So still is day, it seems like night profound;
Scarce by the city’s din the air is stirred,
And dull and deadened comes its every sound;
The cock’s shrill, piercing voice subdued is heard,
By the thick folds of muffling vapors drowned.
Dissolved in mists the hills and trees appear,
Their outlines lost and blended with the sky;
And well-known objects, that to all are near,
No longer seem familiar to the eye,
But with fantastic forms they mock the sight,
As when we grope amid the gloom of night.
Air Born highlights the majestic natural resource that is Grand Teton National Park from a vantage point only seen by those of us lucky enough to be born with the gift of flight, the birds. To showcase the beauty of the park from a view rarely seen by visitors we utilized a multi-rotor remote controlled helicopter mounted with a gimbal stabilized GoPro Hero 3, then later Hero 3 Plus camera.
Our visuals were brought to life by our voice actress, Vickie Garnick, reading the passages of Margaret Murie. Margaret Murie dedicated her life to becoming one of the United States most prominent conservationist. Her hard work was rewarded with the Audubon Medal in 1980, the John Muir Award in 1983, the Robert Marshall Conservation Award in 1986, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1998. Just prior to her death ing 2003 Margaret received the J.N. Ding Darling Conservationist of the Year Award, the National Wildlife Federation's highest honor.
WARNING: It is illegal to fly any form of remote controlled devices in any National Park. We used trained professionals under the supervision of park employees and with special permuted access. Do not attempt to duplicate.

Here is my tribute film to my favorite game, Monument Valley. It stretched me as a storyteller and filmmaker and it was a massive team effort. I'm very proud of how it turned out and what I loved most was the experience of doing it. I presented a big idea with VFX and multiple locations and said I can do it"...but I had no idea how I was going to do it. I learned a lot, especially the VFX side of this film.
Shot on A7s II, Canon L-Series 24-105 and 70-200.
